Enter a page URL and get an instant SEO score with a prioritised list of what to fix. Need the full picture? Run the advanced AI audit and download a PDF report.

What the audit checks

  • Title tag and meta description presence and length
  • Canonical tag and mobile viewport tag
  • H1 count and heading hierarchy (skipped levels)
  • Images missing alt text
  • Open Graph and Twitter Card tags
  • JSON-LD structured data and its types
  • noindex and nofollow directives
  • robots.txt (and whether it blocks the page) and sitemap.xml

How the score works

Every page starts at 100. Critical issues, such as a missing title or a noindex tag, cost 10 points each. Warnings cost 5 and smaller opportunities cost 2. Anything already right appears in the passing list, so you can see what not to touch.

Basic audit or advanced audit?

The basic audit checks one page and is free for everyone, with no signup. The advanced audit reads your homepage plus a sample of other pages, checks links, mobile page speed, robots.txt and your sitemap, scores nine areas, and has AI write a plain-language report with a prioritised fix list, effort estimates and a week-by-week roadmap. You can download it as a PDF to share with clients or your team.

Advanced audit limits

The advanced audit needs a free account. Free accounts get one advanced audit every 3 days, Starter gets 3 a day and Pro gets 10 a day. Reports you have already run can be opened and downloaded again at no cost.

Frequently asked questions

How is the SEO score calculated?

It starts at 100 and subtracts 10 for each critical issue, 5 for each warning and 2 for each opportunity, never going below zero.

Why does the audit say my page is noindex?

The page or its HTTP headers contain a noindex directive. That tells search engines not to list the page, which is only correct for pages you want hidden.

Does the audit check page speed?

The basic audit does not; use the Website Speed Checker for that. The advanced audit includes a mobile speed measurement from Google Lighthouse.

What is in the PDF report?

An overall score, a bar for each area, your top three fixes, a table of every issue with priority and effort, a roadmap for week 1, weeks 2 to 4 and month 2 onwards, and a list of what already works well.
